1. Exercise everyday – consistency is the key. Even if you only do 10 min, exercising everyday is where you will get amazing benefits
2. Eat whole foods – if it is in a packet forget about it. Eating food in its natural form is the most nutritious choice as nature has provided perfect ratios of sugar / fibre etc. Eat a great variety of fruits, vegetable, nuts and seeds and lean protein will cover all your nutritional requirements
3. Enjoy a treat – it is important to allow yourself a treat every now and then. Being too restrictive generally results in failure.
4. ME TIME – take time out to do whatever it is that nurtures your soul. For me it is taking a walk in nature
5. Time with your loved ones – spending time with your family and friends is important and research has linked it to longevity
6. Rest / sleep – ensure you have a good sleep routine and you are getting plenty of sleep! If your body is telling you it needs a rest – LISTEN!
