Meet our Pilates Physio’s – Introducing Sundi

I have always had a love for movement. I was a dancer for many years, starting with ballet and then I transitioned into more contemporary styles. As I started to become more focused on studies, travels and so on my dance practice lessened.

To keep my fitness and flexibility I found yoga. I am a massive yoga fan, however I did find that yoga didn’t fulfil all my needs. Enter pilates. With pilates I found the absolute perfect combination of flexibility, strength and fitness. Not only that, pilates is such a great way to pick up on imbalances within the body. I have been able to specifically target these areas and bring harmony back into my body thereby preventing these imbalances from resulting in lasting pain. I definitely still practice yoga but when I add pilates into my regime I feel so much more comfortable and stable in my body.

 
I love working with the team at Loft. I continue to learn more and more about pilates and the endless benefits. It makes so much sense to use pilates as the next stage of rehabilitation after our hands on treatment. Through pilates we are able to ensure our clients get the long term results they were always hoping for. Pilates allows us to continue to work on muscle imbalances, strength and control and bring rehabilitation to a whole other level.
