Meet out Pilates Instructors – Lara
I’ve always been into activities – hockey, running, climbing, cycling, swimming – I’ll happily give anything a go!
Pilates came in to my life after suffering from back pain from playing a lot of hockey over many years. I started doing reformer with a Physio and then moved on to reformer high intensity classes and was hooked! I loved them so much that I decided to train to become an instructor wanting to see people become stronger, more flexible and more aware of what their bodies can do.
I really believe that Pilates can cater to anyone’s goals. It has so many benefits. I like my classes to be tough but enjoyable and allow people to push themselves. I love to work on glutes and get the spine moving since so many of us work behind a desk these days.
If I’m not in the Pilates studio, you’ll find me outside doing hikes, cooking something delicious in the kitchen and just generally getting out being as active as I can be! Prior covid I certainly loved travelling overseas and locally. And most importantly love spending time with family and friends.
